Gregory Philips is Aboriginal of the Waanyi and Jaru peoples of Australia. He has his PhD in Medical Anthropology and is a Professor at Griffith University’s School of Medicine in Queensland. He runs a respected consulting firm called Abstarr, and works with companies, governments and healthcare providers to develop policy and services for Indigenous peoples based on Aboriginal values and cultural safety. In this episode, we talk about the inroads made, and the challenges faced in establishing equitable conditions for Aboriginal peoples in Australia and across the globe, and we delve into Greg’s drive to being an advocate and change-maker for his community, and a champion for recreating a better world for us all.
